Vasco Reisner
The Beginning
My musical journey began at the age of 13 when I picked up the saxophone for the very first time. What started as a curiosity quickly became a passion, leading me to spend countless hours developing my technique, performing live, and discovering the impact music can have on bringing people together.
From an early age, I embraced every opportunity to perform. Those experiences taught me the value of connecting with an audience, adapting to different environments, and creating memorable moments through live music.
Finding My Sound
As my experience developed, I performed as the saxophonist for the indie-pop band Zephyrus. During my time with Zephyrus, our single “Vague” was recognised as one of the Top 3 pop songs in East Anglia (2024), as credited by the NMG (New Music Generator) Awards 2024. This recognition marked an important milestone in the band’s journey and our development as recording artists.
Following a natural period of hiatus, I began focusing more on collaborating with artists across different genres, including pop and R&B. This allowed me to further expand my versatility and explore the saxophone beyond its traditional jazz roots.
Today
Today, I specialise in luxury weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events across the UK and internationally.
Every performance is tailored to the occasion, whether it's sophisticated background music during a drinks reception, an emotional first dance, or an Ibiza-inspired sax and DJ set that keeps guests on the dance floor all evening.
No two events are ever the same. My approach is centred around understanding each client's vision and delivering a performance that feels effortless, personal, and unforgettable - creating moments that guests will remember long after the final song.
